- Unlock the battery latch then
- Slide and hold the latch into the release position and,
- Slide the battery pack out of the bay
- Loosen the captive screw on the hard disk drive cover
- Remove the hard disk drive cover starting with the edge closet to the screw
- Expose then pull the tab to remove the hard disk drive from its bay
- Remove the two rubber shock mounts
- Remove four screws from the hard disk drive bracket
- Remove the bracket from the hard disk drive.
