- Unlock the battery latch then,
- Slide and hold the latch into the release position and
- Slide the battery pack out of the bay
- Loosen the two captive screws
- Gently pry the cover up to release the tabs and remove the cover
- Remove the two retaining screws on the botton of the system
- Turn the system over and open the cover
- Slide the keyboard toward the rear of the computer
- Lift the front edge then raise the keyboard from the chassis
- Disconnect the keyboard cable from the system board.
