Symptom
On some ThinkPad 11e models, the system does not show any wireless networks. The power plan has been set to Airplane mode.

Solution
If the power plan is configured to Airplane mode, the wireless card may not function properly.
Use the following steps to resolve this issue:
- Open Control Panel (Windows Key + X, then choose Control Panel or search for and select Control Panel). See Where is Control Panel?
- Select Power Options. On earlier versions of Windows, open System and Security. Then, open Power Options.
- Under Choose or customize a power plan, choose Balanced instead of Airplane mode.
If the wireless card still does not display any wireless networks, use the following steps:
- Open Control Panel (Windows Key + X, then choose Control Panel or search for and select Control Panel). See Where is Control Panel?
- Open Network and Sharing Center. On earlier versions of Windows, open Network and Internet. Then, open Network and Sharing Center.
- Click Change Adapter Settings on the left side column.
- Find and right-click the icon for Wi-Fi or Wireless Network Connection. Then, choose Disable.
- Right-click the same icon again and choose Enable.
Note: If the wireless card still does not function, contact Lenovo support.
