Lenovo SECUREit can protect your personal data and privacy from any potential threat. It also offers some useful tools such as anti-theft and parental control.

Quick checkup

Tap Run Checkup for quick check of your device’s security status and give score (Fig. 2-1 & Fig. 2-2). You can use Optimize Now to utilize the security settings after checkup.

Anti-virus

It is used to scan your device for virus. There are different scan levels to choose.

Privacy Guard

It can manage all your apps’ access to privacy data. You can specify what data category an app can access. Tap each category for details.

Data Usage

It can monitor the cellular data usage to make sure total consumption not exceed your data plan. Tap Set Data Plan to set the data usage constrains.

Tap Network Firewall for detail settings on each app’s data access, on cellular, Wi-Fi or none. Tap the icon on top right of screen for more options.

Anti-spam

It can block suspicious spam calls and SMS. The blocking log is listed and you can tap the icon on top right to specify more detailed settings.

Speed-up

It can clear unnecessary data to speed up your device. Tap Boost to execute automatic optimization (recommended). Or you can tap on each item to optimize manually.

Private Space

It will help you get complete control over your phone by preventing others from accessing your privacy. Set any contacts as private and SMS and call logs of this contact will be hidden. You can only view the logs in this page with password protecting.

Steps to set your Private Contacts: Tap Private Contacts > Contacts > Add (Fig. 7-1 & Fig. 7-2):

Anti-theft

Just in case your phone is stolen, Anti-theft helps you reduce the losses (Fig. 8-1). 

Swipe the switch to enable Anti-theft.

Tap Safe Mobile Number to set your safe mobile number.

Swipe the switch to enable SMS Alert. It makes the safe mobile number receives an SMS upon SIM change, then you can send SMS command to the lost phone to wipe data on the phone, lock the phone, or make the phone sound the siren.

Swipe the switch to enable Auto Screen Lock. It makes screen automatically locks upon SIM change and will need Security password to unlock.

Tap Anti-theft Command Instructions to read the command to control the lost phone.

Enable Parental Control helps you hide app’s shortcut to avoid mistaken operation from kids.
