Symptom
The LED indicator light may be deactivated while the camera is still recording under certain conditions. If the Lenovo 500 FHD webcam is recording with its LED indicator lit, use of Windows Hello may cause the LED light to be deactivated, even though the webcam is still active.
System Is Configured With
- Lenovo 500 FHD webcam
- Microsoft Windows 10 Hello user authentication

Limitations
Users should not initiate a Windows Hello user authentication action during webcam recording with the Lenovo FHD 500 or the recording indicator light may be temporarily deactivated.
Other privacy settings regarding webcam features in Windows 10 will continue to work as expected. The physical shutter on the camera provides another option of ensuring the camera is not recording.
