Important Note

V27 is the latest and only version for Windows 10 Redstone1, and V41 is the latest and only version for Windows 10 Redstone2. You will not be able to flash V27 or previous BIOS version to V41.

Please flash the corresponding version of the BIOS.

How to distinguish operating system is Redstone 1 or Redstone 2?

1. Press win + R and type MSINFO32 in run.
2. If OS version is 15063 or newer, it means that your OS is from RS2, and BIOS version should be flashed on V41 or higher version; If OS version is 14393 or older version , the BIOS version should be flashed on V27 or older version.
   

BIOS, abbreviation of Basic Input/Output System, is integrated in ROM chip on main board, which contains the basic input/output program, system configuration information, system startup self-check and pre-setup programs. BIOS provides most basic low-level hardware operations; it is the connection between software and hardware, and interfacing window of hardware and operating system.

Make note of any settings you have changed in the BIOS Configuration Utility. These settings may have to be re-entered after updating the BIOS.
