Lenovo provides regular product updates to ensure our products operate at optimal performance and are secure.

These product updates include Driver, Firmware and Application releases and updates.

Product updates are submitted to Microsoft for release via Windows Update. They will be posted to Windows Update as per Microsoft’s release schedule:

Product updates released on Lenovo’s support website will be available on Lenovo’s update and deployment tools within 1 week of release.

Lenovo has transitioned to a scheduled release process* for product updates to improve both the release process and ease of deployment of our product updates.

Updates will be released on the second Tuesday of each month starting in January 2025. Releases will alternate between AMD and Intel as per this schedule.

A. No, only new products released from April 2023 will adopt the new update release process. Existing and previous generation products will continue to be supported by Lenovo’s agile update process.
